Rhinozuki's Maiden Voyage

The first trip out with Rhinozuki was to an area east of Tucson called 3 Feathers. All of my wheeling prior

to this trip was in rigs with automatic transmissions. I'd driven manual transmissions for years but not in the rocks.

To say it was a learning experience would be an understatement. Trying to do the brake, clutch & gas dance was a real challenge.

As Jimmy Buffet once said, "It simply evaded me!!"

part of 3 Feathers in his

very capable Jeep XJ.

rhinozuki Poser flex shot.jpg (78203 bytes)The next few pictures are

just "Poser" shots as I get

a little bit of a feel for

how the rig flexes and sits

moving on the rocks

A good view of the Toyota

8" and OTT steering set up.

This run was done on 36"

Super Swampers. I currently

run 33 X 13.50 X 15 Swampers.

One more "Poser" from the

passenger side. The rear tire

is stuffed running the 36's.

Now that I run 33's there is

more clearance.

Performed pretty well since

it was my first time behind

the wheel in the rocks.
