A Minor Brake Problem on Rhinozuki When I bought Rhinozuki, the previous owner told me there was a problem with the brakes that he was unable to figure out. The brakes had been bled several times and the Master Cylinder had been replaced. His belief was the Brake Booster was messed up or the Proportioning Valve had a problem. I started off by bleeding the brakes with the help of my wife. I started with the brake furthest from the master cylinder. The way the brakes are plumbed that is the rear drivers side brake. The brakes were bled several times with no improvement. I was beginning to think I had some serious issues to deal with and I never really messed with the braking system of a vehicle. I figured I'd start pulling the wheels and checking for problems. I pulled the drivers side rear wheel and drum as the starting point. As the drum pulled away I heard something hit the ground. The brake adjuster was completely disconnected and fell out of the drum.
The adjuster teeth were a little torn up but I put it all back together and haven't had any other issues. Yea, I know, not major exciting but I hadn't ever heard of that problem before and I figured it out!! Return to the Rhinozuki Main Page
